The country can no longer weaken laws and fall behind in the green economy.

The climate emergency has led countries like the United States and the United Kingdom to make a public commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2030 and to neutralize them by 2050. These decisions are a reflection of the new economy and global geopolitics, which sees the climate issue as a structural component. Brazil, however, insists on going against the grain.
