China has adopted an environmental agenda and there will be a reflection on Brazilian agribusiness, says Tereza Cristina

According to the Minister of Agriculture, the Asian country, Brazil’s main trading partner, wants to know more about ‘how sustainable agriculture practiced here works’.

Tereza Cristina, said that China, Brazil’s main trading partner, entered the positive environmental agenda “not long ago and for real” and this will have repercussions on Brazilian agribusiness. “The subject (environment) was not an issue in our daily lives,” said the minister, in an exclusive interview with Estadão / Broadcast. “But I was very impressed with the speech by China’s new agriculture minister,” she commented.
