Strengthening trade and cooperation agreements in science, technology and innovation, as well as intensifying the partnership between Brazil and China, are among the main themes to be developed by the Committee on Foreign Relations (CRE) in the 2021-2022 biennium. The work plan was presented by the president of the collegiate, senator Kátia Abreu (PP-TO), and approved unanimously on July 6th.
Other axes to be developed are the strengthening of the integration of South America and the modernization of Mercosur, the Brazilian foreign policy as an inducer for the reduction of inequalities, national defense, and intelligence, environment and sustainable development activities.
