International Requiring companies to disclose their climate risks is considered crucial for the energy transition, despite the reservations of NGOs and the fact that a global agreement has yet to be reached.
“We are in favor of mandatory publication of climate-related financial data that provide market participants with reliable and decision-making information,” said the G7 Finance in its statement at the end of its two-day meeting in London.
