Without any sign of agreement, the Mercosur countries decided to postpone the extraordinary meeting of Ministers of Economy and Foreign Affairs to decide on the future of the Common External Tariff (TEC), which was scheduled for the 8th. The meeting, in Buenos Aires , was postponed to the second half of June.

According to sources heard by Valor PRO, the objective is to gain more time to bring positions closer together, as there was no indication of a minimum consensus on the matter. Brazil and Argentina diverge sharply on what to do.
