As a way to ensure its economic viability, sectors of the farming industry have invested in research, new technology and sustainable business models. Embrapa Researchers also point out that fighting illegal logging can slow down climate change and rising carbon emissions.

With high temperatures and less rain, the risk of losing crops and having to shorten production cycles increases. Currently, coffee, sugarcane, corn and soybean productions are suffering from the weather conditions.
