With the growing presence of the climate crisis on the agendas of world leaders and businessmen, the implementation of measures to combat deforestation and the excessive emission of greenhouse gases has accelerated. The European Union’s proposal to block foreign products produced in legally and illegally deforested areas indicates that exports will follow increasingly strict environmental regulations.

In addition to public policies, the population’s consumption habits has also changed to take into account the socio-environmental impact of their purchases. Researches indicate that consumers are willing to pay more, change their consumption patterns and introduce new legislation to ban glyphosate-contaminated products.
