OCAA Webinars: The Amazon and the United States’ new climate policy

“The Amazon Observatory on Trade and Environment in the Amazon (OCAA) will broadcast next Thursday, 29 April, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm (Brasília time), another episode of the OCAA Webinaries series.

With the theme “The Amazon and the new United States climate policy”, the event will debate about the Climate Summit, Joe Biden’s climate agenda and the possible consequences for trade and the environment in the Amazon.

Participating in the event are the professor of International Relations at the University of Brasilia (UNB) Eduardo Viola, the Head of Politica por Inteiro, Natalie Unterstell, and the Director of the Forum at Columbia University, Nicholas Zimmerman.

The webinar will be moderated by the editor-in-chief of Americas Quartely and vice president for policy at the Americas Society / Council of the Americas, Brian Winter. The broadcast will be in Portuguese. Watch by clicking here.
