Paolinelli: Brazil already knows how to produce more food without deforesting

Nominated this year for the Nobel Peace Prize, former Minister of Agriculture Alysson Paolinelli is committed to creating a ‘global food pact’.

The efforts involve defending consistent public policies for sustainable development in Brazil and abroad, through articulating with authorities to disseminate the techniques that make up the “third leap in agriculture”, as he calls production that does not require deforesting new areas.
