Brazil is the largest exporter of beef in the world and the sector has a great negative environmental impact. This study provides a complete subnational map of the origin and supply chain of Brazilian exports of meat, offal and live cattle, and its results provide an unprecedented view of global trade in a commodity with risk of deforestation.
