National Imazon (Institute of Man and Environment of the Amazon) published a study evaluating the potential impacts of the EU-Merocsur Agreement’s ratifcation on deforestation.
The article concludes that there would be an increase in deforestation in the entire Mercosur, especially in Brazil, and presents a list with seven recommendations on how to combat this tendency. Click here to read the entire study.
